How to document sampling?

Someone just asked how to document the moments she takes samples mid-roast using the tryer?

Let's just define an extra event button (menu Config >> Events, 2nd tab) labeled "Sample" to do exactly this. As this is not one of the standard custom events that associates time and temperature with a value (like to document the gas setting), we choose the generic event type ("--") for this.

Note that we put "Sample" as event description and ensure that this description get rendered on the profile (menu Config >> Events, first tab).

By default our "sample" events are annotated to the environmental temperature (ET) curve as shown below.

If we tick "Show on BT" they get rendered on the bean temperature (BT) curve.
